To brew matcha, warm your matcha bowl and bamboo whisk with hot water, then dry the bowl thoroughly. Sift 1-2 grams of matcha powder into the bowl, add 60-70 ml of water heated to 70°C (158°F), and whisk briskly in an "M" or "W" motion until frothy and smooth. Enjoy the vibrant, umami-rich tea directly from the bowl.

Sieve 1 gram of YUMI matcha into a bowl, top with 60ml of lukewarm water. Whisk until matcha is dissolved and a foam starts to appear on top. Pour into a glass and top with ice and milk of your choice or into a mug and top with frothy hot milk of your choice.

Once you’ve opened your matcha, we’d recommend consuming it within 3 months. Our matcha has a shelf life of 12 months.

Something wrong with your order? Drop us a line within 14 days of receiving your order and we’ll do our best to sort it for you. Please note we do not issue returns labels, returns will need to be at your own cost. As matcha is a perishable product we cannot accept returns on powder.
